Stu’s extensive shopping center leasing background provides a valuable perspective when evaluating investments. He understands how tenant mix and curating, lease economics, market rents, vacancy, and merchandising affect NOI and asset value, allowing him to identify opportunities to enhance performance through leasing, repositioning, and redevelopment.

Throughout his career, Stu has been involved in retail investment transactions ranging from value-add opportunities to shopping center acquisitions exceeding $100 million in aggregate. His experience includes acquisitions and dispositions, property assemblages, joint ventures, entitlements, redevelopment, and ground-up development.

Complementing his investment advisory work, Stu has represented landlords and retailers ranging from local businesses to major national brands, including Walmart, AutoZone, Verizon, AT&T, and Starbucks. This combination of investment, leasing, and development expertise enables him to evaluate retail properties from both an investment and operating perspective.
